The Azienda Agricola Cascina Chicco is the proud interpreter of Roero wine civilisation.
It is found in the heart of the Roero and has a solid wine tradition behind it. The winery came about with the purchase of different vine-yards in the most important area of the Roero. In addition to the 8 hectares situated around the historical lands of Canale (Anterisio, Coroania,Mompissano) there are now also the estates of Vezza d'Alba (Valmaggiore), Castellinaldo (Granera Alta, Bric Loira) and recently the land in Castagnito (Costa). Today the Cascina Chicco has 20 hectares of vine-yards, all of which are on hills and produce esteemed wines such as Arneis, Nebbiolo d'Alba, Roero, Barbera d'Alba,Favorita and Brachetto. All the Cascina Chicco wines are made in a modern and purpose built cellar, built with materials and criteria of local tradition.
