Villa Fiorita belongs to the Rondolino Family and was completely restored and rennovated between 1985 and 1990. The Family, whose origins date back to the 15th century, owned for generations vineyards in famous wine growing areas such as Barolo, Ghemme, Gattinara.
Villa Fiorita is situated on the sunny slopes which dominate the Tanaro Valley, a few kilometres from Asti. The thirty acres of vineyards belonging to Villa Fiorita (Barbera, Grignolino, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay) are all ideally situated. Alongside the old cellars of Villa Fiorita, where a number of wines are aged in barriques of Troncais and Nevers oak, are the new cellars where the most modern wine making techniques are employed.
Winemaking at Villa Fiorita is regarded as a continuous process that begins in the vineyard. Exceptional wine can only be made with exceptional grapes.
